Become a VendorTrace Design Partner
We are working with a small group of privacy, compliance, and security professionals to build the product against real vendor due diligence workflows. You get early access and direct roadmap influence. We get structured feedback from people who do this work.
Answering security questionnaires takes too long
Enterprise buyers send security questionnaires before they sign. Each one takes 2 to 3 days to answer manually. There are no reusable answers. The same questions arrive in different formats from different customers. For a 30-person SaaS company with no compliance team, this blocks deal close. VendorTrace is designed to make the first questionnaire take an afternoon and every one after that take 30 minutes.
What design partners work on
These are the four areas we are developing with design partners right now.
Questionnaire answering
Import incoming security questionnaires by paste or XLSX upload. VendorTrace maps each question to your evidence library, posture scan, and cloud integrations. We are working with design partners to improve answer detection accuracy across questionnaire formats.
Trust page
Publish a public page showing your subprocessors, data locations, and security posture. Share the URL with prospects before they ask. We want to understand how prospects use trust pages in your sales process.
Security evidence
The posture scan checks your domain automatically. Cloud integrations read your AWS, GCP, and GitHub configuration to pre-fill answers to the questions about MFA, data residency, and encryption. Design partners help us validate which answers are most useful.
Vendor register
Track which vendors handle your customer data. Classify and export your subprocessor list. We are working with design partners to understand how vendor register data feeds the trust page and questionnaire answering.

How the pilot works
Apply
Fill in the form below. We review every application personally.
Intro call
A 20-minute call to understand your workflow, current tooling, and what you need to document.
Pilot period
Four to six weeks of active use against your real vendor list. We are available throughout.
Feedback session
One 30-minute structured debrief. What worked, what did not, what you need next.
We are accepting a small number of design partners
The goal is depth, not breadth. We want real conversations with practitioners who have meaningful vendor portfolios and a genuine need to solve this problem. If that is your situation, we want to hear from you.

What is a design partner, exactly?
A design partner is an early customer who shapes the product rather than just uses it. You get direct access to the founders, your feedback drives the roadmap, and your workflows influence how features are built. In return, you commit to active use and honest feedback.
How much time does this actually require?
The pilot runs for 4 to 6 weeks. Active use takes as long as running assessments normally would, which depends on your vendor portfolio. The structured feedback session is one 30-minute call per month. That is the full commitment.
Is there a cost during the pilot?
We offer preferred pilot pricing. The specifics depend on your portfolio size and needs, which we will discuss on the intro call. There is no commitment until you have seen the product working on your actual vendor list.
What happens to the preferred pricing after the pilot?
It stays. Design partners lock in preferred pricing for the life of their subscription. This is not a temporary discount that expires after a few months.
What do you do with our feedback?
We use it to prioritise features, close gaps, and make the product work better for the workflows you have described. We will not share your name, company, or data with anyone outside the founding team.
We are not sure our workflow is the right fit. Should we apply anyway?
Yes. We will figure it out on the intro call. If your workflow does not match what we are building right now, we will tell you directly.
